Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of scholarysphere.help and any services you order from us. By submitting an enquiry or placing an order you accept them. Please read section 3 carefully — it defines what our services are for, and it is the part customers most often misunderstand.

1. Definitions

• "We", "us", "our" — ScholarySphere.
• "You", "your" — the person ordering or enquiring about our services.
• "Materials" — any document, analysis, draft, edit or other work product we deliver to you.
• "Order" — a project you have accepted a quote for and which we have confirmed.

2. What we provide

We provide academic study support. Depending on what you order, this may include research assistance, model answers and reference materials, editing and proofreading, formatting, data analysis, and guidance on structure, methodology and referencing.

Materials are prepared as learning aids and reference examples. They are intended to show you how a question can be approached, how an argument can be structured, and how sources are cited — so that you can research, understand and write your own work.

3. Permitted use — please read this section

Materials we supply are provided on the basis that you will use them as a reference. Appropriate uses include:

• Studying the structure, reasoning and referencing to inform work you write yourself
• Using our research and source list as a starting point for your own reading
• Citing our Materials properly as a source, where your institution permits it
• Applying our editorial feedback to improve your own draft

What is not permitted

You must not submit Materials, in whole or in part, as your own work for assessment.

Every UK institution sets its own academic misconduct rules, and they differ. It is your responsibility to read your institution's policy and to use our Materials in a way that complies with it. If you are unsure whether a particular use is permitted, ask your tutor or academic integrity office before you order.

You confirm that you are not requesting Materials for submission as your own assessed work. We do not complete assessments on a student's behalf, we do not sit examinations, we do not log in to any student portal or virtual learning environment on your behalf, and we do not submit work to any institution.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order where we believe the request is for work to be submitted as the customer's own, or where fulfilling it would be unlawful. Where we cancel on this basis before work has begun, we will refund you in full.

4. Orders and quotes

1. You submit a brief through our website, by email or by phone.
2. We respond with a quote setting out scope, price and delivery date. Quotes are typically valid for 7 days.
3. A contract forms when you accept the quote and we confirm the order.
4. We may ask clarifying questions before confirming. We are not obliged to accept every enquiry.

Pricing depends on academic level, word count, subject, complexity and deadline. The quoted price is fixed for the scope quoted. If you later expand the scope, we will quote separately for the additional work and will not proceed until you approve it.

5. Your obligations

• Give us accurate, complete instructions, including the brief, marking criteria, referencing style, word count and deadline
• Supply any materials we need — reading lists, module handbooks, data sets — promptly
• Respond to questions from us in reasonable time, particularly on tight deadlines
• Ensure you have the right to share any third-party material you send us
• Use the Materials in accordance with section 3 and your institution's rules

Where a delay is caused by information not being supplied, the delivery date may move accordingly and we will tell you as soon as we know.

6. Payment

Payment terms are set out in your quote. For larger projects such as dissertations we normally agree staged payments tied to milestones. We do not take payment details through this website. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

We may withhold delivery of final Materials until payment due at that stage has been received.

7. Delivery

We deliver by email or another agreed method, by the date in your order. Longer projects are delivered as staged drafts so you can review progress rather than receiving everything at the end.

If we cannot meet an agreed deadline for reasons within our control, we will tell you as soon as we know and agree a remedy with you — which may include a partial or full refund. We will not accept an order where we do not believe the deadline is achievable.

8. Revisions

Revisions are free and unlimited for 14 days after delivery, provided the request falls within the original brief. Most are returned within 24 hours.

Requests that change the brief — a different research question, a new methodology, a substantially increased word count — are new work and will be quoted separately.

9. Cancellation and refunds

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you generally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract. Where you ask us to begin work within that period, you acknowledge that the cancellation right is lost once the service is fully performed, and that if you cancel partway through you may be charged in proportion to the work already done.

We do not guarantee any particular grade, mark or classification, and we do not guarantee acceptance of any manuscript by any journal. Academic outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including your own work and your assessor's judgement.

10. Intellectual property

We own copyright in Materials until payment is received in full. On full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Materials for your own private study, subject to section 3.

You may not resell, republish, distribute or upload the Materials to any file-sharing site, essay bank or database. We retain the right to be identified as the author. You retain ownership of anything you supply to us.

11. Confidentiality

We treat your identity, institution and project as confidential. We do not disclose that you are a customer to any third party except as set out in our Privacy Policy. Materials prepared for you are not resold, reused for another customer or published.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and we are not liable for academic penalties arising from your use of Materials in a way that breaches section 3 or your institution's rules.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate an order by written notice where the other is in material breach and has not remedied it within 14 days of being asked. On termination you pay for work properly completed up to that point, and we deliver what has been paid for.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when your order is confirmed is the one that applies to that order.
